CAPT LEN — SOLO & STOOL
One man. One guitar. One stool. And more stories than good judgment ought to allow.
This is where I feel most at home. Just me, an old guitar, a weathered voice, and a collection of songs drawn from a lifetime of wandering.
Some are blues. Some are stories about the sea, the road, love, loss, whiskey, and the occasional questionable decision.
Some will make you laugh. Others might stay with you long after the last note fades.
These are my songs, drawn from a lifetime of living, wandering, loving, losing, and occasionally getting into trouble. And every song has a story behind it.
Sometimes it’s Willie, my old acoustic guitar. Sometimes it’s Roxie, my steel resonator, when the blues call for a little slide. And occasionally, the cigar box comes out when things get particularly muddy.
No fancy production. No hiding behind a band. Just the guitar, the voice, and whatever the evening brings.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I’ve simply been lucky enough to live a few stories worth telling, and somewhere along the way, I started putting them to music.
So pull up a chair. Pour yourself something you enjoy.
There’s always room for one more.
